SO where do you start on this journey? Honestly, we keep it simple, as we run out of things, we replace it with something better! One area I know we’re going to be running out of products consistently, is Gabby’s bath time routine!
This is a general list of the items she uses that are in our bathrooms right now.
When our kiddo’s were small, I knew nothing about the dangers of certain ingredients in products or foods.
I like many, followed the assumption that if it wasn’t safe, our lovely leaders would never allow companies to use it in products. So if it was sold on a shelf, it must be safe-ish, right? Oh how very wrong I was.
The more you dig in, the more you learn how much profit there is to make off making one sick. It’s quite disgusting.
J&J promotes they don’t use no parabens, phthalates, sulfates or dyes. Yet continue to add carcinogenic ingredients in products meant for our babes, hiding under terms like PEG, Phenoxyethanol, fragrance, quaternium.
It doesn’t matter where you start on this journey. One change, one swap is better than zero!
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
